Master Pumpkin Carvers

As promised, here are a few pictures of our Family Night Pumpkin Carving Party. This is our third year having friends and family over to carve pumpkins together. It has become a fun tradition! This year we had Amber and Zane and family, Matt and Chantile and family, Valerie Caton and two of her daughters, and of course LJ. It could only have been more fun if Joe and Tabby and Griffin had been able to come! We all missed you guys!! (Heather and Nate - maybe someday you will be close enough to come too - we miss you all so much!) By the way, there are three new posts I added today, so keep scrolling down to see them)

Zane and Ciara working on their masterpiece.

Matt did a difficult pattern and it turned out really great!

LJ always has such creative ideas - you can't see his very well in this shot, but he used the stem as the nose and carved a face around it - its way cute! Good job LJ!

Such concentration!

Hmmmmm...wonder where Jasi gets the tongue thing???

The pumpkin is bigger than she is - but Amber prevailed!

Julie, Thanks for getting me into the Pumpkin Carving spirit, we haven't done that yet this year and I think I may just go to the store and get myself a big pumpkin to carve. Cute blog.
